Narrative:

Picked up patient at hospital, inside of ZZZ airspace. Before takeoff, received clearance through ZZZ airspace. Due to distrs involving patient and thunderstorms possibly building to the west, I was late contacting tower. I was inside class 'C' airspace for 3 mins before contacting tower. Pilot must be isolated from patient distrs and focus on situational awareness.
