Narrative:
Approach was quite busy and forgot to hand us off to tower. This happens at sfo. Captain (PNF -- who was handling the radios this leg) didn't notice, as he was distracted watching the airplane right next to us doing a parallel approach. I didn't catch it, as I was concerned with heavy departure traffic off both the 1 and 28 runways. We also should have caught it at our required 200 ft checklist call which includes 'cleared to land.' the captain failed to make this call and due my concentration during the last 200 ft, I missed it. If the tower did clear us to land, we didn't hear it as we didn't discover we were still on approach frequency until starting to exit 28R. No traffic conflicts occurred as a result on this incident. Solution: 1) don't become distracted if you don't have to be. 2) when crewmember is distracted, be extra conscious that normal procedures take place. 3) make sure all checklist calls are made. 4) add a mental 'cleared to land' at the 1000 ft and 500 ft checklist calls as extra backups.

Title: COMMUTER ACFT LANDS WITHOUT CLRNC.
Narrative: APCH WAS QUITE BUSY AND FORGOT TO HAND US OFF TO TWR. THIS HAPPENS AT SFO. CAPT (PNF -- WHO WAS HANDLING THE RADIOS THIS LEG) DIDN'T NOTICE, AS HE WAS DISTRACTED WATCHING THE AIRPLANE RIGHT NEXT TO US DOING A PARALLEL APCH. I DIDN'T CATCH IT, AS I WAS CONCERNED WITH HVY DEP TFC OFF BOTH THE 1 AND 28 RWYS. WE ALSO SHOULD HAVE CAUGHT IT AT OUR REQUIRED 200 FT CHKLIST CALL WHICH INCLUDES 'CLRED TO LAND.' THE CAPT FAILED TO MAKE THIS CALL AND DUE MY CONCENTRATION DURING THE LAST 200 FT, I MISSED IT. IF THE TWR DID CLR US TO LAND, WE DIDN'T HEAR IT AS WE DIDN'T DISCOVER WE WERE STILL ON APCH FREQ UNTIL STARTING TO EXIT 28R. NO TFC CONFLICTS OCCURRED AS A RESULT ON THIS INCIDENT. SOLUTION: 1) DON'T BECOME DISTRACTED IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE. 2) WHEN CREWMEMBER IS DISTRACTED, BE EXTRA CONSCIOUS THAT NORMAL PROCS TAKE PLACE. 3) MAKE SURE ALL CHKLIST CALLS ARE MADE. 4) ADD A MENTAL 'CLRED TO LAND' AT THE 1000 FT AND 500 FT CHKLIST CALLS AS EXTRA BACKUPS.
