Narrative:
Cpr X a C501 on the ILS at 3 DME altitude 1800 ft MSL speed 110 KTS. Air carrier Y BE02 on the ILS at 5 DME altitude 2300 ft MSL speed 140 KTS. The above was at the same time. Cpr X landed and came to a stop just past runway 26 centerline and was able to turn off the runway with no delay. Just as cpr X cleared the runway the BEO2 crossed the threshold. Obviously the RAPCON at gfk knows nothing about speed control.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: ACR Y HAD LESS THAN STANDARD RADAR SEPARATION FROM CPR X ON IFR APCH. SYS ERROR.
Narrative: CPR X A C501 ON THE ILS AT 3 DME ALT 1800 FT MSL SPD 110 KTS. ACR Y BE02 ON THE ILS AT 5 DME ALT 2300 FT MSL SPD 140 KTS. THE ABOVE WAS AT THE SAME TIME. CPR X LANDED AND CAME TO A STOP JUST PAST RWY 26 CTRLINE AND WAS ABLE TO TURN OFF THE RWY WITH NO DELAY. JUST AS CPR X CLRED THE RWY THE BEO2 CROSSED THE THRESHOLD. OBVIOUSLY THE RAPCON AT GFK KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT SPD CTL.
