Narrative:

Passenger advised flight attendant of discomfort and that he had taken a 'nitro' pill. Passenger had a history of heart disease and presented with all classic symptoms of cardiac distress. I declared an emergency and ordered oxygen administered (bottle was legal for next departure with spare mask). I proceeded expeditiously to destination (closest airport) and landed uneventfully. Passenger was stable on departure for hospital. No known deviations to FARS occurred.
