Narrative:
On takeoff roll, runway 4R lit, near midfield. Several coyotes crossed the runway from left to right. I suspected that I struck at least 1. After takeoff, all system checked normal, so we retracted gear and flaps, and continued flight to stl without incident. We notified lit tower, and they reported finding 1 dead coyote. They passed this through ZME as we climbed through FL200 near arg. Aircraft was written up and inspected by stl maintenance. No damage found.
