Narrative:
Received TA, then RA from aircraft climbing directly beneath us. ZOB did not advise us of the traffic. TCASII 'RA' procedures were followed, climbing from our assigned altitude of FL280 to FL290. ATC was advised of the deviation, and we were then told that there was an aircraft climbing to FL270. We then returned to FL280.
