Narrative:
After pushback from gate, ground advised our flight to taxi taxiway romeo, juliet hold short runway 5R. Upon reaching juliet taxiway, cleveland ground advised to hold short juliet on romeo for taxiing aircraft. We complied ground then advised to taxi juliet hold short runway 5R on (alpha). At this point the captain turned left on juliet and was going to taxi to runway 5R. The active takeoff runway that day was runway 10. Ground control inquired as to our intentions and I communicated to ground that we would make a double right turn and hold short or runway 5R. The captain then turned 2 rights making the 180 degree to alpha then turned left on alpha taxiway and seemed as if he was going to cross active runway 5R. Ground control radioed to stop! Flight # stop! We did, but the nose gear was past the hold short line for runway 5R on alpha. A company aircraft took off runway 5R and there was no conflict. Contributed factors: ATIS changed while taxing and the captain believed we were to taxi to runway 5R instead of runway 10. Also, then 5-6 legs airline crews are to fly in a day puts pressure on capts to taxi fast to keep schedule.

Title: CAPT OF AN MLG FAILED TO STOP AT THE HOLD SHORT LINE DURING TAXI FOR TKOF AND CAUSED A GND CONFLICT WITH A DEPARTING ACFT ON THE RWY TRANSGRESSED.
Narrative: AFTER PUSHBACK FROM GATE, GND ADVISED OUR FLT TO TAXI TXWY ROMEO, JULIET HOLD SHORT RWY 5R. UPON REACHING JULIET TXWY, CLEVELAND GND ADVISED TO HOLD SHORT JULIET ON ROMEO FOR TAXIING ACFT. WE COMPLIED GND THEN ADVISED TO TAXI JULIET HOLD SHORT RWY 5R ON (ALPHA). AT THIS POINT THE CAPT TURNED L ON JULIET AND WAS GOING TO TAXI TO RWY 5R. THE ACTIVE TKOF RWY THAT DAY WAS RWY 10. GND CTL INQUIRED AS TO OUR INTENTIONS AND I COMMUNICATED TO GND THAT WE WOULD MAKE A DOUBLE R TURN AND HOLD SHORT OR RWY 5R. THE CAPT THEN TURNED 2 RIGHTS MAKING THE 180 DEG TO ALPHA THEN TURNED L ON ALPHA TXWY AND SEEMED AS IF HE WAS GOING TO CROSS ACTIVE RWY 5R. GND CTL RADIOED TO STOP! FLT # STOP! WE DID, BUT THE NOSE GEAR WAS PAST THE HOLD SHORT LINE FOR RWY 5R ON ALPHA. A COMPANY ACFT TOOK OFF RWY 5R AND THERE WAS NO CONFLICT. CONTRIBUTED FACTORS: ATIS CHANGED WHILE TAXING AND THE CAPT BELIEVED WE WERE TO TAXI TO RWY 5R INSTEAD OF RWY 10. ALSO, THEN 5-6 LEGS AIRLINE CREWS ARE TO FLY IN A DAY PUTS PRESSURE ON CAPTS TO TAXI FAST TO KEEP SCHEDULE.
