Narrative:
During approach to runway 16, tower instructed our crew to initiate a go around due to an aircraft on the runway. During go around on downwind leg, #2 engine flamed out. Due to fuel starvation indicated by illumination of #2 fuel tank boost pump lights. Though tank quantity indicated 3000 pounds. Xfeed initiated and #2 engine was restored. An emergency was declared and an uneventful landing resulted on runway 16, slc.

Title: LGT INSTRUCTED TO GAR, HAS ENG FLAME OUT.
Narrative: DURING APCH TO RWY 16, TWR INSTRUCTED OUR CREW TO INITIATE A GAR DUE TO AN ACFT ON THE RWY. DURING GAR ON DOWNWIND LEG, #2 ENG FLAMED OUT. DUE TO FUEL STARVATION INDICATED BY ILLUMINATION OF #2 FUEL TANK BOOST PUMP LIGHTS. THOUGH TANK QUANTITY INDICATED 3000 LBS. XFEED INITIATED AND #2 ENG WAS RESTORED.
