Narrative:
Scheduled flight operating between pasco, wa, and seattle, wa, cruising altitude was FL180 using the chins 2 arrival route. ATC gave directions to cross snomy intersection at 10000 ft (35 DME sea). The autoplt was being used and descent mode was activated immediately following ATC instructions. PNF then questioned exact location of the intersection and attention was diverted by both pilots. (Emb 120 descent mode autoplt gives approximately 1800-2000 FPM.) the intersection was believed to have been crossed at approximately 11500 ft. Center was telephoned after landing.
