Narrative:
During taxi from our gate to runway 5L mexico city, the captain taxied the aircraft on to runway 5L at taxiway B6 while I was completing checklists. When I looked up and saw we were on the runway I immediately told the captain he had taxied onto runway 5L and he taxied off at taxiway B5. As we exited the runway, tower called us to inform us we were on the runway and to clear it immediately. We were on the runway about 15-20 seconds and no aircraft was on final or ready to takeoff. The primary cause was the captain misread the airport diagram. He thought he was further to the northeast where taxiway B is not part of the ramp. Contributing factors include night-time even though visibility was excellent and the fact that I was head down doing accuload-FMC input and checklists because of the short taxi time and was not backing up the captain.

Title: UNAUTH RWY ENTRY.
Narrative: DURING TAXI FROM OUR GATE TO RWY 5L MEXICO CITY, THE CAPT TAXIED THE ACFT ON TO RWY 5L AT TXWY B6 WHILE I WAS COMPLETING CHKLISTS. WHEN I LOOKED UP AND SAW WE WERE ON THE RWY I IMMEDIATELY TOLD THE CAPT HE HAD TAXIED ONTO RWY 5L AND HE TAXIED OFF AT TXWY B5. AS WE EXITED THE RWY, TWR CALLED US TO INFORM US WE WERE ON THE RWY AND TO CLR IT IMMEDIATELY. WE WERE ON THE RWY ABOUT 15-20 SECONDS AND NO ACFT WAS ON FINAL OR READY TO TKOF. THE PRIMARY CAUSE WAS THE CAPT MISREAD THE ARPT DIAGRAM. HE THOUGHT HE WAS FURTHER TO THE NE WHERE TXWY B IS NOT PART OF THE RAMP. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS INCLUDE NIGHT-TIME EVEN THOUGH VISIBILITY WAS EXCELLENT AND THE FACT THAT I WAS HEAD DOWN DOING ACCULOAD-FMC INPUT AND CHKLISTS BECAUSE OF THE SHORT TAXI TIME AND WAS NOT BACKING UP THE CAPT.
