Narrative:
Exited runway 36 on taxiway north. Received clearance from ground controller 'right on taxiway J and left on taxiway north to gate.' we turned right on taxiway J which left us approaching runway 33 with traffic on landing roll. We stopped and received new clearance to gate after traffic passed. Received confusing clearance. Too many txwys, curves and change directions without changing letters. Need painted letters on pavement as in lga.

Narrative: EXITED RWY 36 ON TXWY N. RECEIVED CLRNC FROM GND CTLR 'R ON TXWY J AND L ON TXWY N TO GATE.' WE TURNED R ON TXWY J WHICH LEFT US APCHING RWY 33 WITH TFC ON LNDG ROLL. WE STOPPED AND RECEIVED NEW CLRNC TO GATE AFTER TFC PASSED. RECEIVED CONFUSING CLRNC. TOO MANY TXWYS, CURVES AND CHANGE DIRECTIONS WITHOUT CHANGING LETTERS. NEED PAINTED LETTERS ON PAVEMENT AS IN LGA.
