Narrative:
After being cleared for a visual approach to runway 17 at mco, passing approximately 2900 ft (still above GS) we pulled up to the green. This amounted to little more than a momentary leveloff. The RA passed under us indicating 500 ft, then disappeared. We did not see another aircraft and mco tower said they did not have any other contact in our area. We continued back down to the GS for a normal landing. I believe this was a false RA warning from an unknown source!
