Narrative:
While leveling off at FL250, ATC cleared us direct to en route intersection. Got distracted programming omega and VOR's and climbed through FL250 by 500 ft. Caught mistake and returned aircraft to level flight at FL250. ATC did not inquire or note deviation on radio. Maximum altitude reached was FL255. Supplemental information from acn 304735: the first officer, in the midst of leveling off manually, reached over to program the omega. The so, in addition, handed him data on our arrival into toronto at the same time. These distrs caused first officer to climb to FL255.
