Narrative:
We were originally told to expect lda runway 28R. This was changed to bay ILS runway 28L on downwind. On base leg it was changed back to lda runway 28R. As a result, the workload was much higher than it should have been. The briefing pages are too long, information is duplicated. It could and should be condensed to 1 page, or less. Items common to both approachs listed in 1 paragraph, differences in another section. No information was given on the relative speed of the aircraft. As a result, our higher speed was maintained longer than we would have if we had known the difference in our speeds then it was a scramble to slow down enough to keep from passing the lead aircraft, which was a kingair.
