Narrative:
We were cleared for an ILS to runway 22R at ord. The approach required that the first officer tune the #2 navigation to the ord VOR for crossing fixes which I did. The captain said he had tuned and idented his radio to the runway 22R localizer. I did not check his radio, only mine. The approach controller told us to check our localizer frequency, we were south of course. At this point we had the field in sight, and were cleared for a visual approach. The controller had obviously seen this happen before and was prepared for it. The captain made a suggestion that the runway 22L and we were on opposite pages and should not be together. Also, the ord plates were the new commercial approach plate format that is being tested at ord and may have contributed to this error. Also, although I was not the PF, I should have crosschecked his radio and not just mine.

Title: WRONG ILS FREQ FOR APCH.
Narrative: WE WERE CLRED FOR AN ILS TO RWY 22R AT ORD. THE APCH REQUIRED THAT THE FO TUNE THE #2 NAV TO THE ORD VOR FOR XING FIXES WHICH I DID. THE CAPT SAID HE HAD TUNED AND IDENTED HIS RADIO TO THE RWY 22R LOC. I DID NOT CHK HIS RADIO, ONLY MINE. THE APCH CTLR TOLD US TO CHK OUR LOC FREQ, WE WERE S OF COURSE. AT THIS POINT WE HAD THE FIELD IN SIGHT, AND WERE CLRED FOR A VISUAL APCH. THE CTLR HAD OBVIOUSLY SEEN THIS HAPPEN BEFORE AND WAS PREPARED FOR IT. THE CAPT MADE A SUGGESTION THAT THE RWY 22L AND WE WERE ON OPPOSITE PAGES AND SHOULD NOT BE TOGETHER. ALSO, THE ORD PLATES WERE THE NEW COMMERCIAL APCH PLATE FORMAT THAT IS BEING TESTED AT ORD AND MAY HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THIS ERROR. ALSO, ALTHOUGH I WAS NOT THE PF, I SHOULD HAVE XCHKED HIS RADIO AND NOT JUST MINE.
