Narrative:
Descending into ny lga we were cleared to cross somto below 13000 ft descend to 11000 ft. Somehow, the altitude alerter got set to 10000 ft. We ended up dipping down to 10500 before climbing back up to 11000 ft. I remember setting 11000 in the box and neither of us remember putting in 10000 ft, so we don't know how it got there.

Narrative: DSNDING INTO NY LGA WE WERE CLRED TO CROSS SOMTO BELOW 13000 FT DSND TO 11000 FT. SOMEHOW, THE ALT ALERTER GOT SET TO 10000 FT. WE ENDED UP DIPPING DOWN TO 10500 BEFORE CLBING BACK UP TO 11000 FT. I REMEMBER SETTING 11000 IN THE BOX AND NEITHER OF US REMEMBER PUTTING IN 10000 FT, SO WE DON'T KNOW HOW IT GOT THERE.
