Narrative:
Parallel runway alignment. At hehaw intersection, we were given a change of runway to runway 20R at nashville. There was WX in the vicinity of the airport, but we got below the bases on final, and saw the runway from about 7 mi out. When cleared for the visual, the first officer disconnected the autoplt while on about a 40 degree intercept angle. Despite the time of day (mid-afternoon) it was dark, and the runways were wet. The localizer for runway 20R centered, we lined up, switched to tower, then started watching the radar and the rain between us and the field. The jumpseat rider then noticed we were lined up for runway 20C. At approximately 1400 ft AGL we shifted over to the right side and landed normally. There was no traffic conflict and the tower said nothing to us. The point is not to criticize a successful recovery from a small mistake, but to let others know that an experienced crew can still line up on the wrong runway at bna.
