Narrative:
I was doing touch and goes on runway 22 when tower cleared me to land and hold short of runway 18. I did a touch and go and was immediately diverted to the south to avoid crossing over the path of a B727 that was taking off on runway 18. I heard the clearance but did not repeat back to tower the instruction to hold short. I was focusing too much on executing touch and goes. I did not understand 'hold short.' I discussed the incident with my instructor and now completely understand the proper procedures and what is expected of me.

Title: POTENTIAL CONFLICT AS STUDENT PLT FAILS TO HOLD SHORT OF INTERSECTING RWY ON LNDG. HE PERFORMS A TOUCH AND GO INSTEAD. PLT DEV.
Narrative: I WAS DOING TOUCH AND GOES ON RWY 22 WHEN TWR CLRED ME TO LAND AND HOLD SHORT OF RWY 18. I DID A TOUCH AND GO AND WAS IMMEDIATELY DIVERTED TO THE S TO AVOID XING OVER THE PATH OF A B727 THAT WAS TAKING OFF ON RWY 18.
