Narrative:

Enclosed is a graphic description of an incident that occurred during landing involving my aircraft (small aircraft) and a 2-ENGINE turboprop commuter, both cleared to land on a controled field (ksav) at the same time period. The small aircraft came relatively close to the runway intersection. This was completely unintentional. I was instructed to land on runway 27 and hold short of runway 18, 36 by the control tower. A normal procedure when landing according to this clearance is to land and taxi off the runway on bravo taxiway. This is what I expected and planned to do. However, I did not compensate enough for the additional ground speed due to landing 'downwind' and with a relatively active field, my final approach speed was higher than usual for spacing. The ground roll stopping point was anywhere from 100-200' past where I had expected the stopping point was just after the bravo taxiway, but short of the runway intersection as instructed.

Title: RWY TURNOFF OVERSHOT WHEN SMA GIVEN A HOLD SHORT OF INTERSECTING RWY ACCOUNT LNDG TRAFFIC. TAILWIND PRESENT. RWY NOT ENTERED BUT POTENTIAL CONFLICT OCCURRED.

Narrative: ENCLOSED IS A GRAPHIC DESCRIPTION OF AN INCIDENT THAT OCCURRED DURING LNDG INVOLVING MY ACFT (SMA) AND A 2-ENGINE TURBOPROP COMMUTER, BOTH CLRED TO LAND ON A CTLED FIELD (KSAV) AT THE SAME TIME PERIOD. THE SMA CAME RELATIVELY CLOSE TO THE RWY INTXN. THIS WAS COMPLETELY UNINTENTIONAL. I WAS INSTRUCTED TO LAND ON RWY 27 AND HOLD SHORT OF RWY 18, 36 BY THE CTL TWR. A NORMAL PROC WHEN LNDG ACCORDING TO THIS CLRNC IS TO LAND AND TAXI OFF THE RWY ON BRAVO TXWY. THIS IS WHAT I EXPECTED AND PLANNED TO DO. HOWEVER, I DID NOT COMPENSATE ENOUGH FOR THE ADDITIONAL GND SPEED DUE TO LNDG 'DOWNWIND' AND WITH A RELATIVELY ACTIVE FIELD, MY FINAL APCH SPEED WAS HIGHER THAN USUAL FOR SPACING. THE GND ROLL STOPPING POINT WAS ANYWHERE FROM 100-200' PAST WHERE I HAD EXPECTED THE STOPPING POINT WAS JUST AFTER THE BRAVO TXWY, BUT SHORT OF THE RWY INTXN AS INSTRUCTED.
