Narrative:

We were given a crossing restr to cross puttz intersection (95 mi from beckly VOR on the 072 degree radial). The restr was given quite early and we became distracted prior to descending. We initiated descent late and reported to ZDC that we would not be able to make the crossing restr. He said there was no problem and he just gave us a further crossing restr at doccs at 15000 ft prior to us reaching puttz intersection. We made the doccs crossing with no problem and heard nothing further.

Title: ALTDEV XING RESTR NOT MET.

Narrative: WE WERE GIVEN A XING RESTR TO CROSS PUTTZ INTXN (95 MI FROM BECKLY VOR ON THE 072 DEG RADIAL). THE RESTR WAS GIVEN QUITE EARLY AND WE BECAME DISTRACTED PRIOR TO DSNDING. WE INITIATED DSCNT LATE AND RPTED TO ZDC THAT WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE THE XING RESTR. HE SAID THERE WAS NO PROB AND HE JUST GAVE US A FURTHER XING RESTR AT DOCCS AT 15000 FT PRIOR TO US REACHING PUTTZ INTXN. WE MADE THE DOCCS XING WITH NO PROB AND HEARD NOTHING FURTHER.
