Narrative:

Cleared to cross swede at or below FL230. Noticed captain initial descent rate seemed appropriate. Assisted captain with descent checklist. As we completed the check we noticed that we would not make the crossing altitude, missed by 6 or 7 mi. ATC was aware of the deviation and mentioned that there would not be a problem, no traffic in area.

Narrative: CLRED TO CROSS SWEDE AT OR BELOW FL230. NOTICED CAPT INITIAL DSCNT RATE SEEMED APPROPRIATE. ASSISTED CAPT WITH DSCNT CHKLIST. AS WE COMPLETED THE CHK WE NOTICED THAT WE WOULD NOT MAKE THE XING ALT, MISSED BY 6 OR 7 MI. ATC WAS AWARE OF THE DEV AND MENTIONED THAT THERE WOULD NOT BE A PROB, NO TFC IN AREA.
