Narrative:
Pilot was unable to complete landing before army air force base and restr airspace. With approval of controling authority/authorized, climbed back to altitude to clear airspace. Pilot then completed landing sequence once aircraft was clear of restr airspace. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter has heard nothing from any authority/authorized regarding this incident. He properly called the controling agency and received permission to enter R3704 a and B.

Title: A HOT AIR BALLOON PLT ENTERED A RESTR AREA AFTER RECEIVING PERMISSION.
Narrative: PLT WAS UNABLE TO COMPLETE LNDG BEFORE ARMY AIR FORCE BASE AND RESTR AIRSPACE. WITH APPROVAL OF CTLING AUTH, CLBED BACK TO ALT TO CLR AIRSPACE. PLT THEN COMPLETED LNDG SEQUENCE ONCE ACFT WAS CLR OF RESTR AIRSPACE. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR HAS HEARD NOTHING FROM ANY AUTH REGARDING THIS INCIDENT. HE PROPERLY CALLED THE CTLING AGENCY AND RECEIVED PERMISSION TO ENTER R3704 A AND B.
