Narrative:
ATC cleared us to runway 33 for takeoff. We were cleared into position to hold. After surveying the runway condition the crew decided that the snow cover combined with the short runway was unsafe for takeoff. We requested runway 24 for takeoff. Ground cleared us to runway 24 via runway 33 and taxiway east. Because of the snow cover I 'overshot' taxiway east and turned right onto runway 01. Ground informed us runway 01 was closed to operations. We proceeded to taxiway F, made a right turn and rejoined taxiway east. Further review of the NOTAMS revealed that runway 01/19 was in fact closed.

Title: SNOW COVERED RWYS AND TXWYS. WHILE TAXIING TO TKOF RWY, RPTR CAPT OVERSHOT CLRED TXWY, TURNED ON CLOSED RWY BY MISTAKE, BUT EXITED AT FIRST AVAILABLE.
Narrative: ATC CLRED US TO RWY 33 FOR TKOF. WE WERE CLRED INTO POS TO HOLD. AFTER SURVEYING THE RWY CONDITION THE CREW DECIDED THAT THE SNOW COVER COMBINED WITH THE SHORT RWY WAS UNSAFE FOR TKOF. WE REQUESTED RWY 24 FOR TKOF. GND CLRED US TO RWY 24 VIA RWY 33 AND TXWY E. BECAUSE OF THE SNOW COVER I 'OVERSHOT' TXWY E AND TURNED R ONTO RWY 01. GND INFORMED US RWY 01 WAS CLOSED TO OPS. WE PROCEEDED TO TXWY F, MADE A R TURN AND REJOINED TXWY E. FURTHER REVIEW OF THE NOTAMS REVEALED THAT RWY 01/19 WAS IN FACT CLOSED.
