Narrative:
Double redeye segment msp-lax, departure with turnaround lax to msp at XA00. These types of patterns are extremely difficult to prepare for due to circadian rhythms. Both pilots were nodding off and although no specific deviation occurred, the safety margins were exceeded to the point where this was unsafe and potentially disastrous. Repeated pressure to fly these as a reserve with 1 day's notice is not enough preparation.

Title: LGT FLC HAS PROB STAYING AWAKE ON REDEYE FLT WITH TURNAROUND, DOUBLE REDEYE.
Narrative: DOUBLE REDEYE SEGMENT MSP-LAX, DEP WITH TURNAROUND LAX TO MSP AT XA00. THESE TYPES OF PATTERNS ARE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO PREPARE FOR DUE TO CIRCADIAN RHYTHMS. BOTH PLTS WERE NODDING OFF AND ALTHOUGH NO SPECIFIC DEV OCCURRED, THE SAFETY MARGINS WERE EXCEEDED TO THE POINT WHERE THIS WAS UNSAFE AND POTENTIALLY DISASTROUS. REPEATED PRESSURE TO FLY THESE AS A RESERVE WITH 1 DAY'S NOTICE IS NOT ENOUGH PREPARATION.
