Narrative:
Working final radar control position. Aircraft approved to enter final radar airspace on point-out, being controled by north radar controller. Without coordination, north radar controller turned aircraft in final radar airspace while final radar controller turned aircraft #1. This created conflict. Controller attempted to turn aircraft away from each other and crew of aircraft #1 followed TCASII RA and climbed. To prevent future similar sits we should 'work' airplanes in our own airspace and not accept point-outs on aircraft that will be operating in close proximity to other aircraft.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: TRACON FINAL CTLR TOOK A POINT-OUT ON AND APPROVED AN ACFT TO TRAVERSE HIS AIRSPACE. THE N RADAR CTLR TURNED THE ACFT WITHOUT COORD AND CREATED AN LTSS INCIDENT. THE DH8 THAT WAS ON FINAL GOT A TCASII RA AND FOLLOWED IT IN A CLB EVEN THOUGH THE FINAL CTLR WAS TURNING HIM FOR SEPARATION.
