Narrative:
Taxied from ramp onto taxiway, thought clearance was received since ATC were giving more consideration to another air carrier operating and didn't quite receive our call sign. Conflicted with other air carrier call sign. Also late at night, one could tell ATC was not alert and therefore upset when an error occurred.

Title: CL65 FLC TAXIES WITHOUT CLRNC. CTLR UPSET.
Narrative: TAXIED FROM RAMP ONTO TXWY, THOUGHT CLRNC WAS RECEIVED SINCE ATC WERE GIVING MORE CONSIDERATION TO ANOTHER ACR OPERATING AND DIDN'T QUITE RECEIVE OUR CALL SIGN. CONFLICTED WITH OTHER ACR CALL SIGN. ALSO LATE AT NIGHT, ONE COULD TELL ATC WAS NOT ALERT AND THEREFORE UPSET WHEN AN ERROR OCCURRED.
