Narrative:
While holding over mgw en route to bwi, flight attendants reported 'something burning in rear cabin' and could not find source. An emergency was declared and flight diverted to closest suitable airport, pit. While en route to pit, odor subsided but a precautionary landing was made anyway.

Title: MLG ACFT. ACFT EQUIP PROB. BURNING SMELL IN CABIN RPTED BY FLT ATTENDANTS. FLC DECLARED AN EMER AND DIVERTED TO A SUITABLE ARPT. THE SMELL SUBSIDED, BUT FLC CONTINUED TO LAND DIVERSION ARPT.
Narrative: WHILE HOLDING OVER MGW ENRTE TO BWI, FLT ATTENDANTS RPTED 'SOMETHING BURNING IN REAR CABIN' AND COULD NOT FIND SOURCE. AN EMER WAS DECLARED AND FLT DIVERTED TO CLOSEST SUITABLE ARPT, PIT. WHILE ENRTE TO PIT, ODOR SUBSIDED BUT A PRECAUTIONARY LNDG WAS MADE ANYWAY.
