Narrative:
Flight plan route was 'sbj lanna J48 mol mkc xyz atl.' pre departure clearance was 'direct lanna as filed,' ewr 6. In climb, controller told us to go 'direct sbj, flight plan route, request verification.' as 'sbj lanna as filed' explained to ATC about discrepancy. He said sbj was part of SID. It isn't. Tried to explain how dilemma was created because pre departure clearance has precedence. He was unyielding in his belief and blamed computer. Need to straighten out controller or pre departure clearance.

Narrative: FLT PLAN RTE WAS 'SBJ LANNA J48 MOL MKC XYZ ATL.' PDC WAS 'DIRECT LANNA AS FILED,' EWR 6. IN CLB, CTLR TOLD US TO GO 'DIRECT SBJ, FLT PLAN RTE, REQUEST VERIFICATION.' AS 'SBJ LANNA AS FILED' EXPLAINED TO ATC ABOUT DISCREPANCY. HE SAID SBJ WAS PART OF SID. IT ISN'T. TRIED TO EXPLAIN HOW DILEMMA WAS CREATED BECAUSE PDC HAS PRECEDENCE. HE WAS UNYIELDING IN HIS BELIEF AND BLAMED COMPUTER. NEED TO STRAIGHTEN OUT CTLR OR PDC.
