Narrative:
At a point near winslow, az, captain was advised of a passenger requesting oxygen. A doctor on board was summoned and stabilized passenger. Dr X requested a phone patch to a medical facility. Communications using commercial radio were difficult and only partially successful. Dr X stated we had an emergency situation. An emergency was declared and air carrier medical assistance met the flight at jetbridge in dfw.

Title: FLC OF AN MD80 DECLARED A MEDICAL EMER DUE TO AN ILL PAX AND HAD MEDICS MEET THE ACFT UPON LNDG.
Narrative: AT A POINT NEAR WINSLOW, AZ, CAPT WAS ADVISED OF A PAX REQUESTING OXYGEN. A DOCTOR ON BOARD WAS SUMMONED AND STABILIZED PAX. DR X REQUESTED A PHONE PATCH TO A MEDICAL FACILITY. COMS USING COMMERCIAL RADIO WERE DIFFICULT AND ONLY PARTIALLY SUCCESSFUL. DR X STATED WE HAD AN EMER SIT. AN EMER WAS DECLARED AND ACR MEDICAL ASSISTANCE MET THE FLT AT JETBRIDGE IN DFW.
