Narrative:
On an ILS approach with single engine 'simulation' out left engine set at '0' thrust. Engine started to run rough. Proceeded to bring power back up on engine. Engine did not respond and I proceeded with emergency procedure for engine out. On final, I extended landing gear with emergency pump handle. Touched down on mains, then nose. Nose gear then collapsed. Engine not responding, unknown reason. Nose gear collapse, unknown reason.

Title: SMA ACFT PRACTICING SIMULATED ENG OUT HAD ROUGH RUNNING ENG AND SUBSEQUENT FAILURE. ACFT WAS LANDED WITH RESULTANT DAMAGE.
