Narrative:
During a flight from cll to iws on jul/xx/97, I may have inadvertently entered class B airspace without a clearance while descending from 5500 ft MSL to below 4000 ft MSL the base limit of the class B airspace at houston. If I did so it was because I tuned to hub 117.6 instead of iah 116.6 to determine my position and assure that I was still outside 30 NM DME when I descended through 4000 ft MSL.

Title: PLT OF A C182 INADVERTENTLY PENETRATED CLASS B AIRSPACE WHEN DSNDING TO AN ARPT UNDERLYING THE AIRSPACE DUE REFING THE WRONG VOR FOR HIS RELATIVE POS.
Narrative: DURING A FLT FROM CLL TO IWS ON JUL/XX/97, I MAY HAVE INADVERTENTLY ENTERED CLASS B AIRSPACE WITHOUT A CLRNC WHILE DSNDING FROM 5500 FT MSL TO BELOW 4000 FT MSL THE BASE LIMIT OF THE CLASS B AIRSPACE AT HOUSTON. IF I DID SO IT WAS BECAUSE I TUNED TO HUB 117.6 INSTEAD OF IAH 116.6 TO DETERMINE MY POS AND ASSURE THAT I WAS STILL OUTSIDE 30 NM DME WHEN I DSNDED THROUGH 4000 FT MSL.
