Narrative:
We were level at FL270. Aircraft showing on TCASII directly below us, climbing. TCASII issued an RA and commanded 1000- 1500 climb. I smoothly complied while captain notified ATC we were complying with a TCASII warning. At FL275 TCASII RA cleared and we descended back to FL270. ATC stated that the other aircraft never climbed above FL260.

Title: FLC CLBED ABOVE ASSIGNED ALT IN RESPONSE TO A TCASII CAUSED BY ANOTHER ACFT CLBING ABOVE ASSIGNED BELOW THEIR ALT (BUMP UP).
Narrative: WE WERE LEVEL AT FL270. ACFT SHOWING ON TCASII DIRECTLY BELOW US, CLBING. TCASII ISSUED AN RA AND COMMANDED 1000- 1500 CLB. I SMOOTHLY COMPLIED WHILE CAPT NOTIFIED ATC WE WERE COMPLYING WITH A TCASII WARNING. AT FL275 TCASII RA CLRED AND WE DSNDED BACK TO FL270. ATC STATED THAT THE OTHER ACFT NEVER CLBED ABOVE FL260.
