Narrative:

I relieved local controller. He informed me he had an MU2 running up at runway 29 and a cessna inbound for runway 29, a C172. There were no IFR strips on the console. The MU2 departed runway 29 at approximately XA06 pm and when he was 6 mi southwest of the airport, approach asked for the status of the MU2. I looked around and noticed an IFR strip on the MU2 on the fdio with other inactive strips. I then informed approach of the MU2 position and xferred communications. This is the same individual whom once stated to me 'I heard you are trying to sabotage our efforts to get radar. I want you to know that if you sabotage our efforts to get radar and we don't get radar we will hold it against you and you may not be working here anymore.' reporting these types of sits to the supervisors makes matters worse. This individual has a habit of asking me 'you got it?' after every one of his briefing. A 'yes' response does not insure that I received all relevant information concerning my position.
