Narrative:

Went through a line of thunderstorms. Stayed visual all the time, and used the radar to deviate around the thunderstorms. Got some moderate turbulence. At no time was aircraft control lost, just rough ride. Stayed 20 mi from thunderstorms. Am writing because of FAA 800 line. It is now the standard that if anything happens you can expect some passenger to call the FAA 800 hot line and say it was an unsafe flight. Now I must deal with the FAA. This 800 line must be removed, it is not helping, but tying up the FAA and my time.
