Narrative:
Pushed thrust to 2.11 EPR at less than 20 KTS -- heard loud explosion, followed by moderate vibration. Closed throttles, put busses on APU, shut down #2 engine, taxied back to gate at las. Later, maintenance advised, probably caused by T-4 failure.

Title: A COMMERCIAL FIXED WING MLG ON TKOF AT 20 KTS THE #2 ENG FAILED WITH A LOUD EXPLOSION.
Narrative: PUSHED THRUST TO 2.11 EPR AT LESS THAN 20 KTS -- HEARD LOUD EXPLOSION, FOLLOWED BY MODERATE VIBRATION. CLOSED THROTTLES, PUT BUSSES ON APU, SHUT DOWN #2 ENG, TAXIED BACK TO GATE AT LAS. LATER, MAINT ADVISED, PROBABLY CAUSED BY T-4 FAILURE.
