Narrative:
While testing some recently repaired avionics, I inadvertently crossed into camp pendelton restr airspace. I had the airplane on autoplt and was concentrating on the equipment and did not notice the incursion until well within. I discovered the error when I looked up and saw camp pendelton runway practically under me. I immediately headed south to exit the airspace. The problem here is that I should not have attempted to test this gear by myself. It took too much of my attention, and I failed to keep my situational awareness.
