Narrative:
Descending into dfw on the glenrose arrival, passing through approximately 15000 ft ZFW (135.37) said to comply with the airspds on the arrival after hirst intersection. We accelerated. Approaching hirst we decelerated and were instructed to contact dfw approach (133.62). Visually noted traffic at 11000 ft on the arrival, contacted approach, verified previous clearance, approach told us to slow to 250 KTS. MD80 told to turn to 090 degree heading. We continued arrival and approach as published.
