Narrative:
At mkl as we were cleared to taxi to runway 20 by the control tower we crossed over the runway hold line, with the nose of our aircraft only. As a result I thought I would explain what happened and give my reasoning on why this did occur. It occurred due to taxiing at a faster rate than we should have considering our familiarity with mkl.
