Narrative:
Flying on J110 was supposed to intercept J6 at flint intersection. I continued on J110 30 mi past the flint intersection until ZDC advised and gave a turn direct to mrb which is on J6. I missed the turn because we were talking and used to flying J110 further west. No good excuse.

Title: FLC OF A DC9 FAILED TO MAKE FLT PLAN TURN DUE TO SOCIALIZING RESULTING IN ATC INTERVENING AND PROVIDING A VECTOR ON COURSE.
Narrative: FLYING ON J110 WAS SUPPOSED TO INTERCEPT J6 AT FLINT INTXN. I CONTINUED ON J110 30 MI PAST THE FLINT INTXN UNTIL ZDC ADVISED AND GAVE A TURN DIRECT TO MRB WHICH IS ON J6. I MISSED THE TURN BECAUSE WE WERE TALKING AND USED TO FLYING J110 FURTHER W. NO GOOD EXCUSE.
