Narrative:
We experienced a loss of pressurization at FL310 and the cabin altitude warning horn sounded at 10000 ft. Flight engineer was unable to stop a 500 FPM rate of climb. Declared an emergency with ZTL and descended to 16000 ft! Cabin became ctlable at about FL260 and continued to destination at 16000 ft. Landed without further incident.

Title: FLC OF AN LGT DECLARED AN EMER AND DSNDED TO A LOWER ALT AFTER CABIN PRESSURIZATION WARNING SOUNDED AND THE CABIN RATE OF CLB COULD NOT BE STOPPED.
Narrative: WE EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF PRESSURIZATION AT FL310 AND THE CABIN ALT WARNING HORN SOUNDED AT 10000 FT. FE WAS UNABLE TO STOP A 500 FPM RATE OF CLB.
