Narrative:
Captain was flying this leg from cvg-mco. Routing took us from tlh (szw) VOR to pie VOR. Center told us to descend to cross pie VOR at FL210. By the time we crossed pie VOR we were still descending through FL225 on the way to FL210. I queried the captain about the crossing restr about 10 mi before pie VOR, and he replied that he was not aware of any crossing restr. He did not heed my advice on the matter. ATC was busy at the time, so I could not verify the situation with them on the radio. The next time this occurs, I will be much more assertive in voicing my opinions about these matters. No conflict was evident and ATC did not even mention the failure to make this crossing restr to us, so it probably was a non-event, this time.
