Narrative:

Demonstration multi-engine and familiarization, local IFR flight. During the approach, ATC handed us to tower. While explaining and teaching a multi student, I didn't contact tower and they did not call us. We landed without verbal 'cleared to land.' cure is to be more alert to radio calls.
