Narrative:
As a result of a miscom on my part, we inadvertently departed clovis, NM, for albuquerque, NM, after our void time had expired. I incorrectly advised the first officer that our departure time from cvn was XA00 local, when it was actually XA10 local. He proceeded to get our clearance through albuquerque radio, and received a void time of XA05 local. This void time would have been attainable had we actually been departing at XA00, so he had no reason to believe we would not meet it and dismissed it from his mind. Center made us aware of our failing when we checked on at XA17 local, having left the ground at about XA14. While no traffic was held up in the area, we nonetheless expressed our regret. Upon later analysis of the situation, I believe I am primarily at fault for communicating an incorrect departure time and failing to ask the first officer what our void time was, and my first officer is partly responsible for not offering the information to me. Better CRM on our part would have avoided this occurrence.

Title: FLC ON BE1900 ACR DEPARTS CVN AFTER CLRNC VOID TIME.
Narrative: AS A RESULT OF A MISCOM ON MY PART, WE INADVERTENTLY DEPARTED CLOVIS, NM, FOR ALBUQUERQUE, NM, AFTER OUR VOID TIME HAD EXPIRED. I INCORRECTLY ADVISED THE FO THAT OUR DEP TIME FROM CVN WAS XA00 LCL, WHEN IT WAS ACTUALLY XA10 LCL. HE PROCEEDED TO GET OUR CLRNC THROUGH ALBUQUERQUE RADIO, AND RECEIVED A VOID TIME OF XA05 LCL. THIS VOID TIME WOULD HAVE BEEN ATTAINABLE HAD WE ACTUALLY BEEN DEPARTING AT XA00, SO HE HAD NO REASON TO BELIEVE WE WOULD NOT MEET IT AND DISMISSED IT FROM HIS MIND. CTR MADE US AWARE OF OUR FAILING WHEN WE CHKED ON AT XA17 LCL, HAVING LEFT THE GND AT ABOUT XA14. WHILE NO TFC WAS HELD UP IN THE AREA, WE NONETHELESS EXPRESSED OUR REGRET. UPON LATER ANALYSIS OF THE SIT, I BELIEVE I AM PRIMARILY AT FAULT FOR COMMUNICATING AN INCORRECT DEP TIME AND FAILING TO ASK THE FO WHAT OUR VOID TIME WAS, AND MY FO IS PARTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR NOT OFFERING THE INFO TO ME. BETTER CRM ON OUR PART WOULD HAVE AVOIDED THIS OCCURRENCE.
