Narrative:
Approximately 5 mins after takeoff, there was a loud bang from the left wing engine. We later learned the engine was on fire. Evacuate/evacuationed aircraft in sju. Captain told us not to use left exits. Door 3R did not open fully. Evacuate/evacuationed aircraft with only 3 usable exits. Only problems were with carry-on bags. Aside from a few minor burns (due to the slide) there were no major injuries.

Title: DURING CLB ACR A300-600 EXPERIENCED A #1 ENG FIRE. FLC RETURNED TO LAND AND EVACED ACFT WITH ONLY 3 EXITS DUE TO A DOOR THAT WOULD NOT FULLY OPEN.
Narrative: APPROX 5 MINS AFTER TKOF, THERE WAS A LOUD BANG FROM THE L WING ENG. WE LATER LEARNED THE ENG WAS ON FIRE. EVACED ACFT IN SJU. CAPT TOLD US NOT TO USE L EXITS. DOOR 3R DID NOT OPEN FULLY. EVACED ACFT WITH ONLY 3 USABLE EXITS. ONLY PROBS WERE WITH CARRY-ON BAGS. ASIDE FROM A FEW MINOR BURNS (DUE TO THE SLIDE) THERE WERE NO MAJOR INJURIES.
