Narrative:
Air carrier flight XXX msp-dtw. We pwred back from gate xx at msp airport using 1.2 EPR on both engines (normal EPR for pwrback). After receiving and returning the clear to taxi salute from the signalman (we did not see anybody else around) we contacted ground control who told us to make a right turn out of parking to join taxiway a and to taxi on txwys a, H, M, and east, to runway 12L. As we made the right turn no more than 45% N1 RPM was used (again normal power for taxi out). Everything was fine on the flight to dtw. When we parked the airplane in dtw we were told by the chief pilot that when we taxied out in msp there was a ramp agent doing something with a baggage cart that had a door in the up position and that jet blast from my engines threw the door down and put a cut on the agent that required a couple of stitches. The chief pilot said the man was not supposed to be there, that we were ok, but since there was an injury to fill out a company air safety report anyway.
