Narrative:
On takeoff runway 1R, takeoff warning sounded during initial power application. Takeoff was discontinued, cleared the runway and checked flaps, slats, speed brakes and stabilizer trim for correct confign. All were in proper position. Called our maintenance coordinator after running up throttles and did not get a takeoff warning. All agreed all looked good for a second takeoff attempt. Brake energy confirmed to be not a factor. Second takeoff uneventful. Proper logbook documentation about incident and advised sfo tower that first takeoff rejected due to 'takeoff warning.'
