Narrative:

Air carrier X, DC6 aircraft on charter, was ramp checked at bet airport (fuel stop only). I did not have my certificates with me. The inspector suggested the company could facsimile me copies. I called flight operations and received copies of ATP and medical within 10 mins. The inspector appeared to accept those for his purpose. He recorded the appropriate information and returned the copies to me. He said nothing about those copies not being acceptable. He left the aircraft and we continued the flight.
