Narrative:
On the morning of jan/xa/99, I was called to aircraft flight xyz on gate Z in ZZZ. At departure, the flight crew asked to see if I would change the MEL from xx-3A #2 engine oil quantity to xx-3B oil quantity test. I stated that the MEL already installed is proper, because we can't be sure #2 engine oil quantity is ok without further maintenance evaluation. I told the crew that I need to check #2 engine oil quantity. A stand was rolled out and I checked #2 engine oil quantity prior to departure. It was about 20 mins past scheduled departure and I was addressing the logbook. That the aircraft remains on MEL for #2 engine oil quantity reference PIREP ww log page wvvx, no maintenance action taken, oil #2 quantity checked prior to flight. I was in rush to get the logbook completed and never meant to write entry.
