Narrative:
The problem arose with the 'open bar' policy that all international airlines have when flying over the atlantic or when flying international flts. Contributing factors are the same as above -- alcohol! It was discovered because of the aggressiveness of this passenger towards the crew. He had no respect at all and a total disregard for safety. To correct this passenger activity, start charging for the alcohol and limit the amount of alcohol per passenger without distinction. Alcohol aboard aircraft is the #1 cause for accidents/incidents with passenger. Airlines should comprehend that we are not bars in the sky, but a mode of transportation, from one point to another, that passenger do lose control, change their moods/attitude when in contact with alcohol. This was the case with this passenger. He lost his own control to the point of stealing the alcohol, being verbally abusive, lying, and finally being physical with crew members -- just because he wanted more alcohol. As long as we (all airlines) keep on serving alcohol, we will keep having more incidents and accidents on board aircraft. It is just a matter of time when a fatality will occur because of alcohol on board.

Title: FLT ATTENDANT RPT ON PHYSICALLY ABUSIVE PAX, ALCOHOL RELATED, ON B767-300, LHR-LAX.
Narrative: THE PROB AROSE WITH THE 'OPEN BAR' POLICY THAT ALL INTL AIRLINES HAVE WHEN FLYING OVER THE ATLANTIC OR WHEN FLYING INTL FLTS. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS ARE THE SAME AS ABOVE -- ALCOHOL! IT WAS DISCOVERED BECAUSE OF THE AGGRESSIVENESS OF THIS PAX TOWARDS THE CREW. HE HAD NO RESPECT AT ALL AND A TOTAL DISREGARD FOR SAFETY. TO CORRECT THIS PAX ACTIVITY, START CHARGING FOR THE ALCOHOL AND LIMIT THE AMOUNT OF ALCOHOL PER PAX WITHOUT DISTINCTION. ALCOHOL ABOARD ACFT IS THE #1 CAUSE FOR ACCIDENTS/INCIDENTS WITH PAX. IT IS JUST A MATTER OF TIME WHEN A FATALITY WILL OCCUR BECAUSE OF ALCOHOL ON BOARD.
