Narrative:

Just after reaching our cruising altitude and while I was serving beverages in first class, the captain rang via the interphone and informed the flight attendants there was an indication that we'd lost one of our hydraulic system, and that we'd be returning to dfw. He told us we'd be on the ground in about 25 mins, and that although he didn't think we'd have any problems, that we should go ahead and go through our emergency checklist. We were able to accomplish every item on the checklist well before landing. We arrived back at dfw without incident. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter said that after landing in dfw, the airplane was taken OTS and the crew and passenger continued on another plane.
